Father's Memorable Read ![]() As my mother has never been a fan of reading, I could only interview my father. Being a chinese-educated person, my father is an avid reader of chinese books. However, of course, he had read some English books that teaches people about leadership qualities and others. Fortunately for me, he managed to recall one of his more memorable read. The title of the book is called 'Techniques to Analyse, Organise and Present Ideas Persuasively.' by Keith SPicer, Ph D. Basically, this book teaches us how to speak and think clearly. It wants us to realise that "good" communication is not just to transmit a message, but as conveying the message to other people. It also stated that the slogan to have good communications:"Before you put your mouth in motion, get your mind in gear." My father feels that the first two chapters of this book are the most important as they reveal the reasons why thinking on your feet is crucial for presentations. He thinks that this book is very effective and has definitely improved his abilities to organise his ideas and present in front of people. In fact, it has played a role in making him a confident Sales & Marketing Business Executive. Now, isn't that critical to him? Comment | 1 Comments |
