It was a hard choice for me. I really wanted to join judo. However, my long-term injuries were setting me back. Moreover, my brothers were determined to let me drop the thought about judo in fear of me worsening my injuries. What could I do? So, after much consultation and advice from my family and friends, I decided to put NCC as my first choice while judo was my third. It was a very mind-boggling decision, I had to say.
One week before the announcement of the results, I received a message from the people of NCC. They stated that I was allocated to judo due to the change of system and they wanted me to appeal if I was still interested in joining NCC. Of course, when my brothers heard about the message, they made a big fuss about it. They even wanted to prepare a letter to the Head of Department to appeal. They also went to the coach in charge of judo to ask for his opinion! As he knew of my injury, he recommended me not to take judo up because it will cause alot of trouble to myself if my injury was worsened. In the end, I decided to wait for the official results to be released before thinking of what to do.
True enough, I was really posted to judo! What should I do now?
