IT Lesson - Gambling
 Lottery
Ah Boh's obsession with gambling made her do all means to try to win money. She believed that dreams were interlinked with numbers. To her, anything related to numbers represented the winning numbers of the lottery. Be it a cat's mass,to an infant pasted with papers, to the license plate of a car involved in an accident. She also believed that by praying to her deceased husband and household gods, they would grant her her wish of winning a fortune. This superstitous measures, did not only cost her her hard-earned savings and a contented life, but also took away her mother's life.
The Rocking Horse Winner
I feel that ultimately, Paul was responsible for his own death. His winning streak caused him to be addicted to horserace betting as he strongly believed he was lucky. Soon, this addiction grew into obsession. He grew more confident in his luck and started betting more money. However, his luck turned for the worst and he started losing. He was on the verge of a mental breakdown. He was putting himself under so much pressure, he eventually went into a coma and passed away. Although his uncle and mother should have restricted him, I feel that they could not have done anything to stop him.
